I have not used this disc myself, but cdrinfo.com uses it with every CD/DVD-RW drive they test and reports which levels it passed. I bought a computer CD-RW that passed all 5 levels of this test and it was fantastic at ripping scratched discs. I also bought another drive that did poorly on this test, and sure enough it isn't very good at ripping scratched discs at all. So there appears to be strong correlation between measured performance with this disc and actual performance in the real world.
