If Victor is reading this, I would like to remind him that as far as I know, the VK-D5SE's latest revision in its digital section was in 2001 or so.I would LOVE to see a brand new digital product, CDP or DAC, from BAT!!!
I myself would vote for a separate outboard DAC using 6H30 tubes, NO upsampling, and I2S input and/or word clock output :) Oh, USB input done properly, too.
