I just got a used DP-65. I like the refined, fatigue free and relaxed sound but find it a bit too polite and uninvolving. The soundstage is also a bit fuzzy. I'm using VDH The First Ultimate Mk II RCA interconnects and Volex 17604 power cord plugged straight to the wall. Any suggestions on how to get better performance out of this player or Accuphase CDP in general? Thanks!
