Are there fake PCM1704 K out there?

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Or just PCM1704's
Or other more expencive IC?
Where are the PCM1704 made?
Could IC that has ben dismissed as not living up to speck, enter the marked again? would they be marked in any way?
Is there a www where fake IC are listed ( if any) , and with talk about how to tell?
