I used an AA DTI+ between my Sony DVP7000 and Adcom gda-600 dac and the sound was excellent, but that was years ago. I was just wondering if they are still needed with lower jitter transports and dacs that re-clock the signal like the Benchmark DAC-1. I was interested actually in using one between my PC and DAC. Im not sure what way I should go about getting the digital signal from my pc to my dac. My mother board has a Spdif coax output, firewire output and USB, my sound card has a Spdif out put. SO I am not sure which way to hook it up. I want a bit perfect 16/44 signal to my dac which has optical and coax inputs.
