Classe CDP-100 reading discs, any issues??

I've read at least one commercial review of this player where it is mentioned that it failed to read and play a small fraction of the discs tested. This was going to be addressed by a release of new software for the machine. Now, the review in question dates from a few years back. So my question for current owners or anyone that has listened to the player for a while, were this problems fixed? Have you had any issues with reading discs? Does the player takes unusually long to load discs?
For the owners, do you mind posting what players did you hear while making your choice and why did you pick the Classe CDP-100
