Dear Mr. Krieger,thank you again for your very kind and valuable reply.
first of all I must state that I am almost completely ignorant in electronics.
Nevertheless I feel that components like the DAC and the clock could be extremely "disturbed" by high-frequency noise from mains.
Actually I read a post of an Inmate here that uses batteries to power the clock generating circuit with an evident and exceptional effect.
Moreover I see that a lot of modders as a first step improve the clock circuit power supply for instance.Thank you very much indeed.
