Hi Curt,Could you perhaps give me a primer on what this post means? I ask because the SA-15 is on my short list but I may not be able to audition. The other players on my short list are (1) the new McIntosh, but it may be too expensive for me, (2) the soon to be released NAD 2 channel SACD player, which seems to fit the bill if and when it's released, and (3) the Rega Apollo, but it has no SACD capability. I would be upgrading from a Rotel RCD971 I bought in 1999.
So, I'm interested in what is meant be the "Marantz" sound and how the SA-15 differs from that standard. Also, on any thoughts you or others might have on these other palyers.
