first impression of JR digital with Vampire connectors

First I'm not an audiophile and as you can probably tell not very good with reviews but I thought I'd share some initial impressions with you.
I was impressed with the recently purchased belden 89259 cable matched with Vampire C5X/CB connectors. I decided to try similar conectors on the Rhino Premium digital coax cable (JR recipe).
I have mid range HT (Denon,Rotel with Paradigm refs)and stereo set-up (NAD seperates with KEF)so that may have some bearing on my impressions.
First I'm really impressed with the JR digital coax. IMO still the best bang for the buck around. I've tried it with Canare, Vampire (808's) and the Bullet plugs. I found the Vampire (808's) to be smoother than the Canares but the Bullets proved to be the best overall balance.
Then I ordered up this cable with the Vampire Tiffany connectors and was very surprised by what I heard. Noticeably Quiter background, more detail and better focus of the vocals and instruments. I'm hearing vocal nuances that I've never noticed before in very familiar cd's from Dixie Chicks, Diana Krall, David and David, Nora Jones etc. Like what it does for guitar (acoustic and electric)as well as drums (easier to follow the drummer around the kit) with better cymbals, bells sound.
The only thing I find lacking in this cable/connector combo is the apparent reduction in bass. Its there and more defined but it does not have the impact the bullets have. Now it could be the cable still needs to break in (I've only had it for 3 days with about 9-10 hrs of use). Being impatient I tweaked the sub volume a fraction and now its a perfect balance. I'll gladly live with the initial reduction in bass in order to have more detail if thats the right word for it.
When its fully broken in I'll try and post a proper review.
Very impressed and its a keeper.
