The $980,897 funding request would fund the beds for another year."That's like $1500 per month to live in a homeless shelter or about what one would earn working at McDonalds. I hope that includes food, clothing and medical expenses, but it probably doesn't.
So, this is a structural problem of a society, basically, so the problem cannot really go away by itself.
