Lynx to BSS help please...

Hello,

My first post here... looking for some help on my setup.

LynxOne Digital Out > BSS366 > 5-Ch Bryston (4V Input Sens) > 2 Way Horn for now, mono horn sub later. All balanced XLR cabling.

On to the BSS questions:

1. Volume controlled from LynxOne, wayyy too loud at the lowest volume setting. Where is the best place to attenuate? Within the programs band gain or the front panels gain trim (is the front panel using an analog pot?)Don’t want to lose too many bits.
2. Or do I have to have volume controls for every channel before the amps inputs to get the best out of the setup?
3. Read the manual a few times but could not find how to have a 3 way setup with a mono sub. Is this possible with the BSS? I only have 5-Channel amp therefore the decision to go mono on the sub.

Any input/suggestions welcome.
