I realise that phase coherence is necessary for the illusion I crave, but what I really want to know is...how are the over the edge systems doing this when they have such obvious differences in path lengths? I have seen, for example, photos and descriptions of systems with multiple woofers in 20ft. long concrete horns crossed to WE horns at 10ft., curled and re-entrant, then on to Goto tweeters with 5" long horns, with maybe another wooden multicell thrown in somewhere along the way. How are these systems integrated? Do they integrate? Are these systems Porsches or Excalibers with white-walls and gold grills?
