Not only does this medical grade isolation transoformer clean up the line, it adds minimal impedance as well as offering superb common mode attenuation of 60Hz harmonics and noise. Differential noise attenuation performance is also quite good. This is the unit to beat for power conditioning, especially for efficient power converters like switching amplifiers. For class "A" and other more inefficient amplifiers, these must be applied with care as the added impedance, though small, can work against you in some cases where there are lots of peak demands. Basically this means that the conditioner just needs to be oversized a bit for these higher dissipation linear amps.
