Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here.

I've been debating for a long time weither to buy a Phone pre tube kit or buy one used off Audiogon. Lately i've read and seen some really good deals on expensive PreAmps on AudioGon with built in phono pre's. I would like the phono pre to be as good or better than any $500 seperate phono preamp. Monolithic or Black Cube.
Any recommendations? I would like a lenghty list so I can go shopping for a deal. I've seen alot of COnrad Johnsons, McTosh, QUAD, ETc for sale.
