DC guitar genius Anthony Pirog and two ex-Fugazi hardcore dudes, drummer Barndon Canty and bassist Joe Lally, joined forces with saxophonist James Brandon Lewis on a recent Impulse album. In two hours, they are playing for free about 200 yards from my backyard in NW DC. Then they are off to RI for their Newport debut on Sunday. Enjoy.
