This is one of the best classical LP's which I have heard so far. What a glorious sound.

Follow Ups:
The Floyd I just grabbed a few days ago. Appears to be an early US Harvest. Barely played, the gatefold is still stiff. Quiet as can be.The Tommy is my new UK early Track, not a first but close. Sound is amazing. I A/Bed it to my original '69 Decca and it's definitely brighter sounding and more dynamic. Not that the Decca was a bad though.

...along with Cricklewood Green. Previously, was just ASIT guy. Alvin can sure play that guitar! And the sound, on earlier Deram issues, is surprisingly good IMHO.

Hadn't had enough, so I pulled out Beethoven's String Quartets op. 59, Amadeus Quartet on GE DG. I must get some more of this genre.
I spent some of the weekend making a CDR from this very record. Op 76 No. 2 and No. 5.There's a companion Vox record made at the same time of the Lark quartet (Op 64 no 5) and Op 77 No 2. Haven't gotten my hands on one, have two of the other.
on Classic and it's sounding sweet!
wish i could get a copy but they are always sold out!

Go buy this album! Great performance and sound quality.

Randy California's eponymous 1st solo album apart from Spirit. Also Ten Years After-Watt, A Space in Time, and SSSSHHH. Can't seem to get outta that late 60's/1970 thang tonight.
I took a chance on this one. The vinyl was not in the greatest shape. Five star album on amg, so I took a chance. I lucked out, there is very little surface noise in spite of how the album looks.Dizzy plays it pretty close to the vest, but lets it loose on a couple of awe inspiring riffs. Great record!

I have the complete set. Periodically I just pick a box at random and play it.
Re-issue with Kenny Burrell. Nice sound, great playing.
Yummy. Which I could see them on tour this summer.
just curious, how does it compare to the 33?

I love Blossom Dearie! I think she is very under appreciated. My biggest regeret was passing on some of her albums when I was in London. Expensive, yes, but they are rare.

If you don't have it already, find a copy of Howard Jones' "Human's Lib". Great album, great sound. Tom
Did you recently receive yours? I have one on backorder from Acoustic Sounds. TIA.
I received mine 2 weeks ago. I bought it from theMusic.com in the beginning of January.

Nineteen tried and nineteen died, and you've killed only one.
side 3 to be more precise.

Mike
The only other one I have to compare is a UK Parlophone Stereo re-issue, and yes I prefer the mono Japan it sound a lot better than the stereo version I have.....
All kinds of stuff on this rainy Easter in PA.Still good stuff.
Not too shabby!

And your point is? Maybe you are the spam fairy?
Originally issued in 1963 as "It's Too Late" (Double-L SD-8300), this is Swedish pressing from 1967 (Sonet GP-9921).
