Any suggestions for high quality wire to run from binding posts to drivers in a DIY single driver speaker using Fertin full range drivers?
Follow Ups:
well, if you have (almost) no money to spend (like me) then you could go for the DIY approach, and do the Cat5 braids.. I haven't got them as internal wire personally (did the internals of the speakers before I read about it) but I do have bi-wired lengths of the cat5 recipe..
for more info on the cat5 braids, do a search for cat5, and I think the guys name is ChrisH or ChrisV (sorry if these are wrong dude, the cables are good!)Kye.
Use what you use for wire from your amp to the speakers. For instance, JosephAudio uses Cardas.BrianH
My buddy uses Kimber 8TCs. They were actually too beefy (8 little wires per lead). So soldering was a pain.Cardas is also great!
You can check out www.partsconnection.on.ca and look at their speaker wire section in their catalog.
I had problems d/l'ing their catalog. If you do, save it first and then load it up with Acrobat!
