I have never heard VR-3 but my late friend Steve Zipser here in Florida loved them.
I saw a pair on Audiogon, but it was too late.
The owner said they were dark sounding, imaged ok, but he liked his Audio Physic better.
He also was blown away by maggies 1.6???
go figure?
I am getting vmps rm40, but was considering Von Schweikert's.
