keep the sample rates at 16/44.1 for the GCHA.No USB technically supports proper ASIO - ASIO is a soundcard protocol ... so I'm not sure what you are getting.
Follow Ups:
Hi there,I tried again with ASIO4ALL and I now remember why I was having troubles. I leave everything as is in terms of sample/bit rates; and have the buffer set to 1600ms. There are no pops/clicks, but there are two issues:
1. there is a very noticeable hiss in the background...like a very loud noisefloor, as if I was listening to a tape
2. a song would play fine for around 1 or even 2 minutes, then all of a sudden it would just all become loud white noise...like the noise you get from a TV when it is not tuned to a channel.Any ideas what this could be and how to remedy it?
BTW in the ASIO4ALL settings I disabled the check box which resamples all 44.1kHz to 48kHz.
