Pretty straightforward. Especially when you consider a pair from Bruce is $100 less... Although they don't look as nice, I guess.I'm trying to figure out what sort of flare this is now. I really have no idea. I guess I'll find out how it measures eventually. Might provide some clues.
Part of me wants to hold off buying the Radian 475's to drop in there, since I'll most likely end up with different horns eventually, anyways. Maybe build some like Volvotreter's. Not like I could do much worse of a job.
I hope I can borrow a friend's digital camera soon and post some pics.

Follow Ups:
You should have gotten the refund when it was offered to you Charlie. When I offered the refund (I actually recommended it to you for your horns due to the description you made)to you you passed on it. If you'd like for me to email Victor again I will.

You're right, I should have demanded a refund immediately for these. My recollection of our conversations on the phone is sketchy, so I can't say for sure. I got them on 2/28... After talking with you and victor a bit, I figured I might try fixing them, but then I know on 3/21 you told me I should get a refund based on my description. My fault that I waited until 4/1 then to ask Victor for a refund. Couldn't get a refund then, and he told me then that he'd moved overseas, and I'd have to pay shipping ($180) each way if I wanted a different pair.
If you want to contact him again, that's fine. I doubt anything's changed.

ps: Sorry for hijacking your thread, Volvotreter
Three months ago you didn't have to "demand" a refund Charlie. It was offered to you first hand along with another choice of a partial allowance. I'll email Victor to see if he'll take them back. He has moved, so they'll need shipped to the other side of the world.

...all of my problems with Sierra Brooks are my own fault. Bad judgement on my part, thinking I could repair the horns. I should have gotten a refund immediately. I'm not really being sarcastic here either. My failure to get a refund is my fault. After Victor said, point blank, I could not get a refund and would have to pay $360 shipping to get a new pair (assuming they were perfect), I pretty much gave up on it. It was not my intention to dredge this up.
When I said I got burned, I meant it more in line with what balint said: "To ask 500USD for things like this is outrageous." If I try to use them, with the amount of work they need they are worth nowhere near $500, at least not to me. Even if I do end up with a refund, it's still a collosal waste of time and money (for shipping).
