Which is better for powering a pair of PSB speakers? I think they could both be had for about 300 dollars. I'm pretty sure that the XR45 doesn't have a phono input, but does the NAD? My only problem about the XR45 is that it just looks like one of those home-theatre-in-a-box receivers, crappy. Any recommendations?
Follow Ups:
I recently bought a SA-XR25 -- same power section as XR45 but fewer "features". I'm very content with it as an HT receiver, but its quality for music is not great compared to NAD.I don't have the C320BEE but the C270 power amp -- believe this: the NAD is far more musical. That is, sweeter and more transparent.

Do you use any of the digital remastering effects?

the Panny if you like a very accurate sound with tight and deep bass
The Nad if you prefer a warm sound
the Panny analogic inputs are NOT bad , they just are not magic like digital input , and the tuner has a nice smooth sound
NAD 320bee anyday....panasonic dont stand a chance....nad 320bee does not have a phono input but a matching phono stage can be purchased as an accessory.
manek.

Do some searches, and you'll see that the analog input capabilities of the Panasonic digital amps are not highly regarded. Most of the people who are excited about them use digital input only. The BEE does not have a built-in phono stage, but I think it's best choice of the two if you have a TT.

My SA-XR50 is fine with CD's on the digital inputs, yes. But it seems to do something very special with analog FM and Cassette tape inputs. Heck, I can't explain it but it's nice.On the other hand, my XM Radio pod seems distant or faint through the Panny.

What is your system like ? I have ordered one XR50 and waiting for it to arrive. I am curious about the sound quality compared to $1K range integrated amps and $500 CD player combo.

I'm still playing around with mine in the garage when I get the time. Right now I'm using a Carver TX11B tuner, Carver Cassette deck, various CD players and DVD players etc with Klipsch KG 2.1's now.

For Stereo the NAD.For HT the Pany.
The C320BEE does not have a phono stage. I never heard the Panasonic, but I do own the C320BEE and am in love with it. It is a solid integrated amp and terrific value.
