Glad to hear all is working well for you Ozzy. I understand that TVC's are probably the most ideal passive (unfortunately, i'm a few dollars short of being able to afford one.. at the moment at least) because of the nature of transformer impedance matching.I've written an email to JoLida to ask them if the 47 Kohm measurement on their website is an output impedance measurment or a recommended matching input impedance for the load device (aka preamp input impedance rating). 47 Kohm is a rather 'standard' rating for a preamp input impedance. I find it hard to believe that a cd player could have such a high output impedance considering that VERY few source components I've seen has a greater than 1 KOhm rating
