Re: wonderful sound of vinyl

I just got into this recently - I rescued my 1500 LP's from storage in the garage- kept my old ProAc SuperTablette reference monitors from 1987 - and went out and bought a new Naim CD5 and Nait5 integrated. I also bought a new Rega P3 but I was not happy- I was "told" that vinyl sounded better however it just was not so. Maybe it was my CD player- I bought a GOOD player so maybe that was the reason.

After using my Rega for 1 month I went back to my dealer to audition that "famous" Linn LP12. One spin and I was sold.

NOW I do not even listen to my "good" CD player anymore. Just 100% pure unadulterated VINYL. I even joked with my dealer that I was going to give my CD5 back to him and put my 1000 CD's in storage in my garage.

Vinyl rules - and a big THANKS to audioasylum for all the informative knowledge gleamed from this forum

Gregg
