I didn't mean for my reply to be in a prominent position. Much like honking a car horn without a safety issue, it implies a level of importance not reflected in reality.

I just remembered why I might have no issues with sonic quality on this album.

I payed extra for an imported pressing of john barleycorn back when it first came out. That was my go to move when I wanted a quality pressing , and didn't know squat about buying vinyl .

Most imports were english pressings, probably because of the common language although I do think the importers tried to provide a quality product to justify the higher price. I now know a bit more about sources, thanks to this site.
