Re: JR filter/surge suppressor -- implementation questions

Try just the JR AC Line Filter in front of the entire audio system, with the video system disconnected temporarily.

See if it provides you with better sound.

If it does, and they usually do, then you might want to consider seperate units for the video and audio system.

Most amps will not be limited by the JR AC Line Filter, so you can run them off of the whole filter. If you have concerns, it would be an option to supply a seperate outlet and box, running wires out from the kit box to this other box, that had only the front end caps for filtering.
