Tubes Asylum

Hello
I read somewhere that using SS preamp and tube amp would expose the
worst in both SS & tube. Hybrids are usually tube preamp and SS amp.
However, I heard some success stories here about Creek OBH10/12 passive
preamp with different types of tube amps here. Any inputs? Thanks.
