I don't want to sound like a broken record (I guess the saying should be changed to CD...) but I can't help it. I just got done listening to the new Jack Johnson CD on my Ellis 1801's and I am blown away by the sound. Dave's model with standard crossovers (which have better components than most commercial models costing twice the price) start at $775. They use a Seas Excel magnesium woofer and Hiquophon OW1 tweeter. I don't think you can find a better designed, better built, more beautiful speaker any where near this price.Follow the link. Even if you don't like the speakers, the website is pretty informative and educational to anyone who is into audio.
