RE: Question about Gotham Speaker for Tri-amping and Triwiring

As someone whom used to sell Linn | Naim gear from 1984-92, and was accustomed to the sound of tri-amped ( Naim 6 pack ) Linn Isobariks or Naim DBLs as shown below:

I'm basing this on the fact at the time, our shop only used either Naim or Linn SCs, which were essentially around 14AWG wire, yet this was in fact an active system, without subs, of which I personally never bought into the concept of using them, being as I'm a mini-monitor lover whom can happily live with mid-bass reaching between 50-45-40 Hz, if done correctly, yet am aware different thicknesses of wires respond to certain frequencies within the audio band, hence always viewing smaller gauged wire as more responsible for the highs | while larger wires are more adapt towards mid or lower bass definition.

As I read into it, like tube amps with real power | speakers with true low-end bass response cost upwards of $10.000 or more, hence the reason I've seen many with less costlier speakers using subwoofers, as cost itself is the limiting factor, no!.

Just doing the numbers here, yet once again can't speak on subwoofers or crossovers and the likes, sorry maybe someone else will chime in with more experience on said setup details?.
