I bought this tuner, the Sony ST-SB920, via mail-order, sight-unseen. I have not been disappointed. It is very handsome, well-built and performs to complete satisfaction. I can listen to it all day and get very excited about the music I am listening to. I live in a difficult reception environment, and the Sony has no problem here. The sound is spacious. I sometimes can only tell it from CD source by its slight dryness to the sound, which I believe is an Sony trademark. It has no remote but its control layout is so exceptional that its a treat to use. I did compare it to a 70s Fisher studio tuner. Same selectivity but a very smooth and mellow sound. The Sony gets you involved in the rhythm and the performance. Basically, you will not be disappointed.
