There is something about the solid plate GEKT88 thats puts me in mind of the tungsol 6550 solid plates of yesteryear.This tube is truly a marvel in its own right and even tho shuguang is known for making cheaper tubes price wise,they really did their homework on this tube being it really is very smooth and elegant and accurate and pleases the most discriminating audiophile in most cases..You wont find an unfavorable report on this tube other than they are a big pricey as they aren't discounted.
