for the V-8030S

This is a dream tape deck. Lets begin by the negative: a few buttons are odd looking, and made of plastic. This tape deck is bulky. That's it. The Teac is equipped with all the commands you can think of, 3 heads, 2 cabstans, 4 motors, Dolby B/C/HX/S.
The mechanism is ultra-quiet. The sound is the best I ever heard from a tape deck, and, with a good tape and Dolby S, it is very difficult to find a difference between CD and tape!
I also have an excellent Sony TC-KA3ES. When I bought the V-8030S (factory-refurbished), I was astonished to hear an improvement compared to the Sony. The sound is 'clearer' (less distortion?).
