Add the MLS (African Ebony) cabinets and most of the major upgrades, less the Silver Wire and Hi-End XO's and with the new woofer which comes with the new MLS cabinets. Workmanship rates a ten, no loose ends with these what so ever and a finsh that rates with any finer furniture and you are in for some very enjoyable listening.

Setup takes a little time and my wife enjoys watching me work out moving stuff from here over to there. I also have the Larger Sub which does not get moved (I have limits) by the way. 12' x 24" IBeam
makes an excellent speaker stand in spite of weighing almost as much as the Larger Sub. The enjoyment of attaining the WAF is working out better than I expected, it must have something to do with her sitting down and enjoying the music which wasn't happening very often with the old speakers.

My taste in music runs toward Jazz , Blues, Big Band and R&R. BCSE 626Rs don't do well with poorly produced music, "garbage in ... garbage out". With well produced recordings, the newest version of the 626Rs are very much closer to a good set of headphones than I have ever heard with any set of speakers, no matter what amount of funding you may care to unload.

My listening area is small and this system blends nicely, much better than the previous setup, with the added enjoyment of rediscovering a great deal of music that I havn't enjoyed in a long time. The sound is upfront center and very much live and tight.

Ribbons need to be heard to be believed and as small as these speakers are, the music produced is a wonder.

Product Weakness: none.
The indicated price isn't correct , check with Mr. Cheney.
Product Strengths: Top Quality Sound and Very Well Designed. Excellent Bottom End without the Larger Sub. Add the Larger Sub
and things pick up more than a few notches. My neighbors love me.
