Relatively efficient at 90db. Supplanted my Dunlavy SC IVs which I've enjoyed for years. The Grand Veenas offer superb low level detail - the best I've heard from any speaker in 40 years. With the tube amps the sounds are full, round and incredible detailed. I havent tried them with my Marsh Sound Design 400 amp, but I suspect that the tube amps will be marginally better at "personalizing" the sound. The Grand Veenas are a pleasure to listen to and to hear Melody Gardot it is as if she is kissing your ears. The details of the instruments/voices go on and on and trail off naturally. This pair is one of the first sold but have been brought up to the latest version. They are a steal (used) and new they would be a great bargain. The treble is absolutely superb and so easy to hear and listen to. Bass isnt as good as the Dunlavys but just as accurate and taunt. I dont miss much. They are a joy to listen to.

Product Weakness:	Not for headbangers or very large rooms.
Product Strengths:	Startlingly detailed, full, intimate sound. Very listenable treble and accurate bass. OK for larger or small rooms. Great with tubes, but neutral from top to bottom.
