I use these little gems for my rear surround paired with a Harman Kardon PA2100 amp with great success. I have also tried them with a Sansui 3000a receiver (22 watts RMS) and my cd player. I was pleased with the sound. I would not reccomend these speakers to listeners with a very crital ear, as they may dissapoint due to the lack of solid bass and slightly harsh midrange. If you are in the market for an inexspensive bookself speaker they might fit the bill. I started the whole audition with "One" from Metallica. The bass from the kick drums really bottomed out at higher volumes, but overall the sound was not bad. From there I threw on some Dixie Chicks. The vocals sounded good at moderate volumes and had some harshness at higher volumes. The highs were not overly bight as compared to other speakers at this price point. Everything else I threw at the Titans sounded respectable. All in all, not a bad speaker for the budget-minded Audiophile or casual listener.
