I have had the Paradigm Reference Studio 100's for 1 week & they sound great right out of the box. Paradigm recommends a break in of 50 hours so the sound can only get better. They replaced Magnepan 3.5's and I am hearing a depth to the music that was never there before. Listening position is not nearly as critical with these speakers. They produce a wide, deep soundstage, with exellent image location anywhere between the speakers. Bass response flat to 25 hz in room as per stereophile's test CD 3. I only had one dealer near me, so I ended up paying full list price. However at $2400.00 in wood finish they are still a great buy. Highly Recommended.
