I've had my Monitor 9 for some 2 years now, and I'm very pleased with the sound. When I was out shopping for speakers, I has B&W on my first place, but after listening to Paradigm in the store, I was convinced to try them a few days. The first thing that hit me, was the clear and concise vocals. The bass is also strong and authorative, even for such a "cheap" speaker.
My primary uses is HT (HT-light?) and music listening @ fairly high levels, and Monitor 9 does the job without complaining.
When I first got them in my living-room, they sounded very dull, compared to the sound after some 60 hours countinous playing.
All in all, I'm very pleased with them.

Only one more thing to do:
A Paradigm PS-1200 Active Sub in addition to the CC-350 Center, just to get that extra "punch".
