I've been slowly saving and upgrading my music/ht,80/20, system and this is the latest addition. My Paradigm Titan's were moved to the rear and these were placed in front. I'm currently using 1 Boston CR6 for a center until I can put in a CC350 and I'll think about putting Atoms or micros for front effects. I don't have any Infinity LMPs's in the system now and it is a lot better for a voice match for the center which was a LMPS. After balancing the speakers using the Avia test and set up dvd and a RS SPL meter I put in a cd and pressed repeat. sounded pretty good but left for the weekend. Now they sound very good for the $$. They threw up a large soundstage and the vocals were centered well and the individual instruments were placed with a nice sense of space around the musicians sometimes, placement issues could improve this area. Yes, There is a LOT better but for the money they suit me fine for now. They sound somewhat laid back in my system, not in your face if that's the right term. Highs are well extended. The breaking glass sequence on the beginning of a dts intro was very clear with every tinkle heard easily. I never thought I'd say this about Madonna but on "Ray of Light" her voice is really pure and sweet with perhaps a touch of sibilence. Much better mids than the Titan's. I'm running the speakers in "small" from my Yamaha RX V2095 and using a Paradigm PS1000 for the low end. Strings sound good as well. These aren't too bright in my system, some may feel different as I'm no expert but my cables might be helping here. For the money,$340 with Premier MB-60 wall brackets for my Titan's out the door, I feel I got a good deal. My dealer is a specialty type stereo shop and treats me just like the big buck guy's. Hope they survive the WWW. I should add that these aren't shielded and that they are available in black, light cherry and dark cherry which I picked up.
