To address the "Krappa" comments. That is a bum rap for these speakers, anyone who says that about them have never heard them at all or have heard them with insufficient amplification. These speakers are the genuine article...go listen for yourself and make sure you have plenty of amplification that is stable down to 1 or 2 ohms. If these speakers ever sounded bad, it was the amp and preamp used....it's all there in the speakers, you just need suitable components to bring out the best in these beasts. By the way, since my original post for this review, I have purchased a pair of the Renaissance 90's...they are a very good speaker, however, the Kappa 9's hold their own in comparison. I believe the culprit with the bad reviews for these speakers is that the listener was under powering them.
