for the Titan II

I built this from their kit for $649 and it was quite easy. This would be a very good starter kit for a new DIYer.

I am so pleased with the sound, I previously had a Klipsch and a Velodyne CT-120 and both bothered me with boomy bass.

The Titan II has none of that. First it integrated easily amd smoothly with just a few moments of knob turning and after a month and readjustment I ended up right back where I started with the settings.

I listen to music and movies and although some have stated it's not "up there" for HT I find nothing lacking at all when it comes to LFE effects.

But the Titan really shines on music whether it's rock or pop or whatever.
I tried Mariah Carey first cd as loud as I could stand it and the room shakes then I put on Loreena McKennitt's Mask and Mirror and played it both loud and soft and the Titan is never obtrusive.

The most amazing thing about this sub though is it's ability to DISAPPEAR completely. With the others I could always tell they were in the corner, with the Titan the bass is coming right out in front of me and behind me or where ever the orginal engineer set up the mic.
I don't see how you could find a better sub at twice the price and if you build it yourself, well it's a real steal
