I had purchased this receiver via EBay and was highly pleased when it was delivered to my home. The condition was excellent, and none of the controls had any noise. The Sony STR 6055 receiver is conservatively rated at 35 watts RMS per channel. It has inputs for Phono, aux and tape. I am using it in my study (12x14') and it is driving my original 70's vintage Dynaco A-25 speakers. The overall performance is excellent and the bass response on FM is amazing! Just recently my son-in-law, who is a professional musician, visited and we listened to a new "hot off the press" CD that he had recorded. He thought that the quality of the sound from this system was one of the best he had heard. While anytime you bid on used equipment you do incur some risk, I feel the Sony STR 6055 is worthy of serious consideration.

Product Weakness: Dial face is unlit, but this is a minor item.
Product Strengths: Excellent build quality.
