for the PurePower+ 1500
I have in the past used various power strips and filters in my system. the latest being the Uberbuss filter. With the Uberbuss I both tried plugging my power amps into the Uperbuss or plugging them into the wall. Plugging the whole system into the Uberbuss sounded the best with simply a very clean sound and nice black background. Along comes the PurePower 1500. I first tried plugging my whole system into the PurePower and plugging the PurePower into the Uperbuss with the Uberbuss plugged into the wall. With this combo I got a small increase in resolution and a small increase in dynamicks. Howevere there was an unpleasant congestion in the lower midrange with this setup that I did not like at all. So out goes the Uberbuss and I plug the PurePower+ straight into the wall outlet. Now I get a very noticible increase in low level resolution and a huge increase in dynamics. And I mean huge. Live concert type dynamics. I now have many recordings both digital and vinyl that if I set the lowest levels so I can just hear them the loudest levels are almost to loud. At first I thought that maybe this was being caused by to much detail or some kind of distortion but know it is just realistic, live music, thrilling dynamics that I have never heard from my system. I have only been listening for two weeks but so far the purepower+ 1500 is a real winner with no downsides to it that I can tell

- I have to agree. If the company will not either fix or be straightforward best to never buy the product. nt - Elizabeth 12:46:13 03/26/14 ( 0)
