I tried few PLCs in my system. Can't say that I tried them all, but quite few. Various Monster, Richard Grey, etc. devices ranging anywhere from 100s to 1000s. All of them used different principles but they all had one thing in common - they either did not have any effect on my system or had had effect that was not worth the money.
Browsing through last HES in NYC Hilton I ran across cople of guys from Equi=Tech that actually sounded like they had engineering background (which they really did!) unlike most PLC designers (no offence intended).
They sounded so reasonable that I decided to give it a try. Hey - what do I have to loose? 30 day money back warranty - can't beat that.
I ordered the unit and waited for quite some time - the transformers were backordered. Well, last week it finally arrived (70 pound box).
It took me some time to place it in my rack. Damn thing is heavy at 55 pounds!
I would not go into desctiption of operation and principles - it is very well done on the corporate web site. I would just say that the unit is extremely well built and looks much more expencive than it is.
Now to operation.
As I plugged all my equipment into it I realised immediately the absolute silence. All my components suddenly stopped making any noise whatsoever. No sound of transformers (as little as there was before) and absolutely no background noise. On everything - the amplifier, the CD player, the TT, the cassette deck - everything.
I am only using it for three days and I am sure I will have more information as I continue using it but the changes were so noticeable that I simply had to share my experience.
Verdict - the best 2 G's I spent on audio.

Product Weakness: weight (thank God I don't need to move it again)!
Product Strengths: built quality, absolutely clean power.
