for the Blue Point Special

Owned and enjoyed the Blue Point Special for about 3 month's. Then the accident happened and I snapped the stylus.

The BPS sound excellent, the music is portrayed with a speed and clarity unlike any MM type.

I don't recommend this cartridge for Linn Akito owners. The BPS needs to sit all the way back, I mean all the way with the tonearm wires bent so that the aligment will work.

The BPS has a large back plate.

I highly recommend this cartridge for anyone looking for a nervous thrill wondering when the dreaded date with destiny will finally arrive.

Sonically I can find no faults. The sound is wide and expansive with plenty of air around instruments. At the price level it should be considered a bargain.

Must be installed very, very, carefully. And no alcoholic beverages must be consumed during use.

Product Weakness: Very easily damaged. Repair is expensive.
Product Strengths: Sound, price and value
