I use mz-7 for already a year. When I first noticed it in shop, the first thing about it which attracted my attention was design - silver-colored, without hordes of all these stupid disco-lights and lamps. Speakers had realistic wood-look (being covered with plastic). Then I asked shop-assistant to turn it on. This day I listened to the perfect Bohemian Rhapsody on lots of minisystems, but this one seemed to sound a little bit other way. First of all, turned to maximum power its speakers didn't hiss as some do (often quiet, but disturbing) or make any other sound before the music began. Second, its basses... yes, undoubtly bass is strenght of the mz-7. Deep, colorfull bass, and - maybe too strong. Today I'm sitting on my sofa listening to music and feel the air pounding my body from inside of it. Of cause its quite pleasurefull when listening to smth. like Motorhead, but you cannot listen it always. And comparing to this bass takeover, higher frequence sounds sometimes seem to be a little too quiet.
What I want finally to point out is that despite all its lacks mz-7 sounds with... "volume", its sound no way is flat. And most of time it is really pleasure to listen to. So I'm glad to be its possessor and if you haven't enough large room or money to buy Hi-Fi this stylish minisystem could undoubtly be your valuable choice. It costs its money.
