Little 100 wpc amp is just the ticket to sweeten the mid and treble of my system. It has quite a bit of the tube sweet sound that usually costs big bucks. You get three knobs to play with: volume, source selector, and on/off switch, and two pretty lights on the face plate to tell you that the two channels are working. The bass was one step less exact and/or less tight then my Adcom 5300 with Adcom pre-amp. I integrated a sub to bring in that aspect of the music subsequently. A bit of tube rolling was recommended by Uptown Audio , but to be honest I never auditioned the tubes that came with the set although I still have them. Break in was short at only 2 days with the initial sound being delicate and the final sound detailed but more robust but still a shade less robust than a mid fi ss amp like Adcoms. I like this amp even though at 6 months a channel went out on me and I had to ship it back to Jolida where it was repaired for free and with no hassle. The thing is that the price for the repair would have been $200 so I hope it doesn't happen again, and it hasn't in two years of continual hard use.

Product Weakness: Needed a repair, and no pre-amp outputs unless you pay $100 more (remote included if you do)
Product Strengths: Tube like sweetness, low price, visually minimal, sturdy construction, good at low ohms, big power supply, good looks inside should you decide to prowl around there
