I've owned this unit for about a year now. Quite happy with the improvement it made over my Yamaha CX600 preamp and Cinepro amp. The treble improved greatly without grain. This is the first true hi-end piece of equipment I've had, so there is not a lot I can compare with. I did however compare prior to purchase with the Classe Cap80. The poor build quality of the CAP80 was immediatly evident, so that was a no-brainer. The 20 year warranty is a nice touch, and the service (only a blown fuse) was unbeatable. Dead quiet is what this amp will deliver when no signal is present. It had no trouble driving my Legacy Focus to very loud levels. The Foci have gone by the wayside, and are soon to be replaced by an extremely revealing "E-speakers.com" kit consisting of (2)PHL 1240's and the unbeatable Raven R2 (except by the R3)

With audio, simplicity is purity. And this is pure and simple elegant single-output-device electronics with no digital noisemaking junk inside.
You can also easily Biamp using a Y-adapter, and this works great, especially if you have another Bryston amp with the same gain.
Hi-quality pots, connectors, and switches. No fancy crap. It won't impress your non-fi friends, but It'll impress your ears.
