for the DT-990 Pro

The Beyer Dynamic DT990-Pro is an amazing experience.
They provide a frightening accute, and naturalistic sound.

The DT990-Pro is a further development from the DT990, which had problems with the loose magnets jamming the coils if the headphone where dropped
on the floor. That has been fixed on the DT990-Pro

I have had both the DT990-Pro, and the earlier DT990. I have also had
Sennheisers HD580, and tested AKG K240M.

The DT990 had to my opinion marginally better clarity, but suffered from the loose magnets. I finally dropped them on the floor, and they where gonners. One of the magnets was displaced.

Them i tested the AKG K240M, which i in comparison find having a dull, boring sound, but otherwise seems to be of good quality.

So i ordered the Sennheiser HD580, which on paper seemed to be one step up from the DT990. Oh, if i had only...

The Sennheiser HD580 headphones are to my view an insult. The freqyency response is appauling, and the mechanical quality is very low. A shock.
The connector for the right hand side cord broke just after 2 hours of listening. At which point a had already decided to send them back.

Then i ordered the DT990-Pro headphone, and i love it!
Listening to binaural samplings just makes the hair on the neck curl.
I actually have one problem. On one of my records with David Bowie i can hear people arguing about something in the background of the music, something i never heard before.
The DT990-Pro has fixed magnets, so they can withstand being dropped on the floor.

Dad once tried my DT990-Pro, and now he has hes own.

If i accidentally step on them in the future, i will certainly buy another DT990-Pro.
