After 4 months of use I feel it necessary to warn as many folks about this product as possible. After much research, I purchased this product new from a dealer on the internet. I thought that this product would provide me with more than basic DVD viewing features in addition to playing most if not all digital music formats. This product work exactly as advertised for about a month. Then one day, quite literally in the middle of a movie, the DTS signal began to cut in and out. I performed all manner of fix that I could think of and none worked.

A call to tech support yielded nothing but the usual "pack it up and ship it in response." This pissed me off to no end but I was left with little choice. Before I could box the thing up and drive it the 97 miles to the nearest "authorized service center" the machine started exhibiting other symptoms of demonic posession. The carousel tray began to open and close for no reason. All sound from the device, even CD's began cutting in and out. Disc's that would play before began to skip or not play. Finally, the machine ate a disc. It slid off the tray and lodged inside the machine preventing the tray from closing. Not wanting to void the warranty I did not open the box but rather shook it upside down until the disc slid out.

It's now been 3 weeks since they've had my DVD player. I don't know if I want the piece of crap back. Buyer's beware, this thing is a piece of garbage.
