This is a follow-up to my original review.

After blistering the company, here and in other venues, I received a very gracious communication from Jason in Oppo technical support, offering to go through my various problems item by item.

It was a classy thing to do, and I think it speaks volumes about Oppo's commitment to long-term customer relationships. I'm still switching back to Sony (despite their plow-horse status, they're the name to beat in compatibility with personal backups) but after my dialogue with Jason I think my original review was unfair.

Product Weakness:	Inflexible with personal media, despite firmware upgrade
Product Strengths:	Outstanding commitment to customer responsiveness
