The cable was broken in for a week on the freezer and than been played almost non stop for two weeks.
It was hooked to several set-ups and components, the point of comparison was the Onix Grandmaster (700$ with audio grade Wattgates) and MBL PC.
Assuming it's a sufficient period to launch a review, five stars to Chris for service and arrival time.

Built: very good for the DIY standard no complaints there, (standard Wattgates ordered).

Sound: The immediate impression was of the instruments separation, they did not blend together even with full orchestral pieces, Background was clear and quiet, each instrument was sharply carved and well panoramically positioned, Strings plucked were tight and tangible, bass guitar was fast and articulated, and a good sense of grip of what was going on in the studio did not go absent.
Transients also do not suffer from loss of attack and timbre, Cymbals were sweet and uncolored,The cable was nor "warm" or "hard" sounding.

I do however find the cable to lack some fluidity and depth fo stage, even when compared to the Belden 19364 DIY,(Crumps recipe), that leads to some loss of involvement, some would call it "flat".
When going back and forth from the VHC to the Onix and the MBL cords it seams that the first, though very accurate, lacks some musicality.

In conclusion, this is a fine cable to kick your system up from the blur and muddle state, when compared to other mid-priced PC's like XLO, DNM, System Coincidence, and even some esoteric ones, it did'nt fall behind, and was even better, But when compared to the Grandmaster and MBL it comes short, also if you like your sound lush, you better audition it first.
